Temperature control in a vape wasn’t introduced initially when vapes started to take over the market. Temperature control of a pod inside a vape is a recently introduced feature and one that is actually a very advantageous one. Temperature control or TC is a mode with which you can control the intensity of the burning of the coil. It isn’t always required that you have the highest temperature for the strongest puff. Some other mild-mannered fellows prefer a more relaxing soothing vaping experience and hence they will definitely love the lighter side of vaping. A lower temperature on a vape will allow your coil to last longer and the vape smoke will be much lighter. Lowering or moderating the temperatures on vapes also ensures that your vaping experience is safe.

So How Does It Work?

Basically, the coil is a wire folded in a cylindrical-like shape. The wire’s resistivity usually defines how strongly it will oppose the flow of electrons or electric current and hence Joule effect takes place when electrical energy is dissipated into the wire producing heat. You can see the resistance value on coils when you purchase them. As a general rule, the resistance of a coil increases with temperature and that is all you should know by now unless you want to dig deeper. The temperature control isn’t very precise or accurate for that matter, but it gets your job done nonetheless. As a matter of fact, if you want our preference, the lower the temperature the safer it is to use the vape. The Juice you vape also produces the best flavor on lower temperature. But of course, you don’t have to go too low on the temperature as it would barely do anything with the juice and you coil and your vaping experience will definitely go to waste.
Manufacturers sometimes buffer the flavors up with sugars and other flavorful material.
